Time Flies...

Time flies... In LC's words :: "6 weeks seems like 6 days"....

Ha... Can't believe that half the semester's over... and I/we practically did nth in terms of schwork... lemmi see... I guess the most intense period was last weekend when we were rushing out the vhdl project... other than that... yar.... school was largely a side affair... although we had lotsa problems changing courses now and then... it was like shopping in a supermarket sourcing for the best deals... right guys?? *wink*

I have to admit that life in denmark so far has taught me many things.... things which i wouldn't have learnt if I'm still in Singapore....

1) Taking care of myself and that includes not just staying healthy, but how to make your own meals, wash your own laundry (tho its washing machine that does all the job.. =p), keeping track of expenses which i sometimes try to but to no real effect....

2) Staying harmoniously with neighbours, container-mates

3) Planning for trips

4) Keeping up with sch work.... not that I'm real good at it... Skipped lects and haven't been reading up stuff, which i think makes me a real lousy project mate.... ha...

5) Going for partys, social outings, etc... Getting to know the angmohs, koreans, china pple... its really amazing how the use of English actually brings everyone tog, despite the fact that we all have our own accent and there's always a "i beg your pardon?" now and then in between the conversations....

Hmm... I have to say that with regard to point 3, I'm really still weak at it... I just can't bring myself to plan when I sit in front of my comp. There's the temptation to watch my large collection of shows... not just mj's ones but also new ones i dled and got from marek... or when pple jio me for dota... or when I can just surf around for my own interest.... sigh.... I think its time I stop being a leech and start to do some planning as well man... it's not really fair that we let others do the work all the time and we just stand ard to reap the benefits rite?....

With regards to point 5, i think i could still do better... but sometimes i think going for too many "partys" makes them rather mundane as well eh.... so should just go when you feel in the mood for it.... but shucks... i missed all the 3 polish parties so far... 1st time was bcos we thought it was purely for the polish, 2nd cos me and sy went finland/estonia, and the one that just passed was bcos we were piaing for the vhdl pjt.... hmm... and we are gonna miss the 4th one as well... cos going amsterdam... grhhh

Time flies.... memories remain..... sweet ones..... bitter ones.......

Anyway, I've gotten myself a camera.... *heartache*

but I guess its good to have one, else i have less incentive to go around places....
its always nice to store the beautiful memories in pics eh... as the saying goes " a picture speaks a thousand words "

yeah!! so i guess this blog will still have its fair share of pics afterall!
